Project LIFE, a program of Wyandot County Developmental Disabilities

Services: Project LIFE is a comprehensive, multi-year transition program in which post high school-graduate interns with a developmental disability will develop, practice, and strengthen skills that will help lead them to adult independence and community employment. Interns begin their day at a community-based work site under the supervision of a skills trainer. Once the worksite is done, interns will have learning activities with a curriculum directed by the Project LIFE Coordinator and skills trainer. The curriculum focuses on three different aspects: Home, Community, and Work. Each aspect allows interns to focus on self-determination, independence, social and communication skills, physical and emotional well-being, and more.

Services: Our mission at the Ohio Small Business Development Centers is to accelerate Ohio’s economy by helping people start, sustain, and grow their businesses. We provide high-impact, front-line programs designed specifically for your business. SBDC’s also provide confidential business advising with one of our certified and trained business counselors. These counselors can help with anything from creating a business plan to management training. The Ohio SBDC Network also includes specialty programs through the Export Assistance Centers, Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC), Minority Business Assistance Centers (MBAC), and the Latino SBDC. Each center is staffed with experienced counselors that understand the local small business community.
