Services: The BABY & ME – Tobacco Free Program strives to inspire and empower pregnant women and their families to overcome nicotine addiction and work to support communities in disrupting the generational impacts of tobacco.

  • Nursing: Immunizations, Project Dawn naloxone distribution, school nursing services, communicable disease education and reporting, Council on Birth Defects, Children with Medical Handicaps program (CMH), head lice eradication, Ohio Buckles Buckeyes car seat program, tuberculosis skin-testing and follow-up, Help Me Grow Home Visiting program, tobacco prevention, free condoms.
  • Vital Statistics: Birth certificates for those born anywhere in the state of Ohio; Death certificates for those who died in Wyandot County.
  • Environmental Health: Licensing and permitting for private water systems (well), household sewage treatment systems (septic systems), public swimming pools, food establishments, campgrounds, and landfill. Investigations of nuisance and smoking complaints and animal bites. Monitoring of mosquito- and tick-borne illnesses.
