Services: Hospice exists to provide an alternative to acute care for the terminally ill and their families. The focus is to provide support and care for persons in the last phases of an incurable disease so that they may live as fully and comfortably as possible. Hospice offers palliative or comfort care rather than curative treatment. The focus is on pain and symptom control that enable the patient to live as fully and comfortably as possible.
