Various groups and agencies in and around Wyandot County offer a variety of services to help with Clothing Assistance.
Carey Clothing Closet

Hours: Wednesdays 1:30-4 p.m. to help clients. Open for clothing donation drop offs Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Services: All sizes and seasons of clothing at no cost.

Guiding Grace Clothing Closet

Address: 110 N. Main St., Nevada, OH 44849

Hours: Wednesdays 3:30-5:30 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to noon.

Services: Free used clothing for all ages available exclusively to people living in the 44849 zip code. Clothing donations are accepted. Food distribution also available on the third Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon, to those who are signed up prior to food distribution day. On months with five Fridays, food distribution occurs on the fourth Saturday of the month. Call for additional details.

Open Door Resource Center

Services: Faith-based organization offering financial assistance, resources, referrals, and advocacy for Wyandot County residents with emergency needs such as rent, utilities, gasoline, groceries, prescriptions, etc. Verification and qualifications apply.

Also provides assistance in developing a budget and future plan. Provides donated furniture, appliances, and miscellaneous household items as available for those who qualify. 2 Coats Clothing program offers work clothes, work boots, dress clothes, suits, coats, and shoes based on available donations.

Services: Sells gently used, name brand clothing at reasonable prices. Buys, sells, and consigns children, teen, and maternity clothing.

Upper Sandusky Free Event Wear and Costume Pantry

Services: Offers free gently used or new event wear including homecoming, prom, wedding and bridesmaid dresses; children's event wear including school costumes, suits, and communion, and flower girl dresses; sporting equipment; and Halloween costumes for all ages.

Public donation locations: Donations of event wear and costume items for the pantry may be dropped off at Sweet Seasons, 132 S. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky; Birch Tree Bookery, 605 E. Center Street, Ste B, Marion; Lavender Hour, 113 E. Crawford St., Findlay; and RavensCloak Reiki and Treasures, 120 Harding Way W, Galion.

Services:
Free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds: At Voice of Hope we offer free, confidential medical grade pregnancy testing.  Limited first trimester ultrasounds are offered by licensed medical professionals at our centers.

Family Education Center: Short on supplies for your baby?  Enroll in our Earn While You Learn Program to earn Baby Bucks to purchase the needed supplies. Need diapers? Wipes? Formula? We have everything you need stocked in our Boutique and Clothing Closet.  Find more information, about our classes.

Restoration Center: We will partner with moms and dads working to maintain or regain custody of their kids. Our free parenting classes are CPS approved and we will work with your case worker to build a personalized education plan.
