Sisters in Shelter

About: Since 2004, Sisters in Shelter has been dedicated to supporting survivors of human trafficking, assisting them in rebuilding their lives and reclaiming independence. Together we strive to raise awareness, foster healing, and advocate for meaningful change. Beyond direct services, we are deeply committed to prevention and education. Through these concentrated efforts, we endeavor to create a community that is informed, compassionate, and proactive in the fight against human trafficking.

What is Human Trafficking? It is the exploitation of vulnerable people through force, fraud, or coercion for labor or sex, violating their dignity and freedom. Every 30 seconds, someone becomes a victim of human trafficking.
